The five officers and directors of G5 Enterprises, Inc. represent over 100 years of real estate experience, over $100 million in real estate investment transactions, tens of millions in partnership profits, numerous national awards and scores of professional offices held. The principals have subdivided, developed, and built dozens of projects. They have authored and taught national real estate seminars, and written books on developing, brokering, joint venturing, exchanging, and investing. These successful professionals have joined together to use their experience and vision to create exceptional real estate opportunities.

Virgil Opfer, SEC, President & CEO
Since 1973, Virgil Opfer has served as the primary decision maker for closed transactions involving over 200 properties purchased for investment and/or development and sold for combined profits in excess of $15,000,000. Current projects include an additional 100 properties with projected profits in excess of $19,000,000.
He has formed 22 legal entities for real estate ownership, including corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships, joint ventures, and limited liability companies. He has over 30 years experience as a real estate broker with advanced training in tax law and tax deferred exchanges. He has authored and co-authored numerous books, articles, and classes for real estate professionals.
Mr. Opfer has held a California real estate brokers license since 1974, and served as the principal broker for a full service, multiple-office real estate and property management firm. He received his Bachelor of Science degree, in Aerospace Engineering, With Distinction, and completed all courses for his Master of Business Administration in Real Estate.
He was named “Exchangor of the Year in 1986” by the National Counsel of Exchangors (NCE), and received NCE’s award, “1996 Exchange of the Year,” for the year’s most creative transaction. He has been inducted into the Exchangors’ Hall of Fame. Mr. Opfer was the 2004 President of the National Society of Exchange Counselors (S.E.C.).
As a principal and/or managing partner, he has been involved in construction of single-family communities, condominium conversions, land subdivision and entitlement projects, ownership of rental houses, apartments, commercial centers, and office buildings.


Chet Allen, CCIM, SEC, Vice President & Director
Chet Allen, Stanford economics graduate, is experienced in all areas of building, development, and brokerage. He has closed in excess of $80,000,000 in brokerage transactions involving individuals, corporations, lenders and foreign investors in locations from coast to coast and border to border. His building and development experience includes land acquisition, subdivision design, zoning, mapping, financing, off-site construction, house and apartment plans and working drawings, building construction, leasing and sales. He is a licensed general contractor and has developed, built and marketed California housing subdivisions in Sacramento, Merced, Atwater, Brentwood, Los Banos and Sonora; apartment complexes in Modesto, Merced and Atwater; office building in San Jose; and industrial buildings in Bakersfield and Alaska.
Mr. Allen is the sole owner of Greyhawk, Inc., a general contracting firm that has served as the General Contractor for recently completed investment projects managed by G5 Enterprises, Inc. including SummerBreeze 2001, LLC, the construction of a sixty-five unit condominium project with total sales of $7,264,000; and The Downs, LLC, a thirty-unit condominium conversion project with total sales of $7,570,000. Greyhawk, Inc. is currently the General Contractor for Santa Rosa Trails, LLC, that is building thirty-three single-family homes with projected sales in excess of $23,000,000.
As a broker, Mr. Allen is the only winner of both of the nation’s two highest commercial real estate awards, Most Creative Commercial-Investment Transaction and Most Creative Exchange (64 properties, 35 principals, 14 agents, and 12 lenders). He is a Member and past president of the Society of Exchange Counselors (SEC) and holds commercial real estate’s highest designation, Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
Mr. Allen has been, on three occasions, a guest lecturer at Stanford’s Engineering School. He has, authored and conducted nationally accredited seminars including Developing & Joint Venturing, Analyzing Investment Properties and Big Money Real Estate. Bob Stewart, EMS, Vice President Development
Bob Stewart, developer and broker, is a graduate of San Diego State University and president of two development companies. With his engineering background, Mr. Stewart has successfully developed subdivisions throughout Southern California and has brokered transactions throughout the United States.He is president of California Investment Bankers, Inc., and broker-owner of Hometown Realtors. He is past president of the East San Diego County Board of Realtors, was East San Diego Board’s Realtor-of-the Year in 1996. In 1986, he served as California Association of Realtors Regional Vice President.
Mr. Stewart has completed dozens of successful exchanges, was the 1996 Secretary of the National Counsel of Exchangors and is past president of the San Diego Exchangors.

Dan Harrison, CEMC, Vice President Marketing
Dan Harrison, Certified Equity Marketing Consultant, is a graduate of Northern Colorado University, with a Masters Degree in Education, and is a Veteran Officer of the United States Air Force. Dan is recognized as an expert in creative transaction making, and rose up through the ranks of his professional association, The National Council of Exchangors (N.C.E.). He was three times President of the Golden Circle Exchangors, Past-president of the Southwest Chapter of N.C.E., served on the N.C.E. National Board of Directors for six years and was elected to two terms as National President in 1985 and 1986. Under his leadership, N.C.E enjoyed unprecedented growth, recognition, and prosperity.
Dan has been a prolific contributor of articles, books, and seminars. He is the co-author of the widely acclaimed book entitled "100 Equity Marketing Formulas". His seminar on “Negotiating” is recognized as a qualifying course for “Who’s Who In Creative Real Estate” and has been presented to many large investment real estate companies and real estate associations throughout the nation. In 1987 and 1988, Dan was appointed as the Chairman of a “blue ribbon” Committee charged with the task of writing the NCE Gold Card qualifying course entitled “Basics of Real Estate Exchanging and Equity Marketing.” Dan teaches this course; approved for 21 hours of Department of Real Estate continuing education credits, to prospective real estate exchangors from every region of the United States. He also instructs a real estate counseling course and creative equity marketing course that is receiving wide acclaim.
Dan Harrison is in constant demand as a speaker and lecturer at real estate conferences and conventions. He served on the Board of Directors of the Certified Exchangors in 1983 and 1984, and holds a Senior Listing in “Who’s Who in Creative Real Estate.” Dan was inducted into the N.C.E. Hall of Fame in 1990.

Greg La Marca, Vice President Project Management
Mr. La Marca has assumed a leading role in project management for projects directed by G5 Enterprises, Inc. As Project Manager, he had full responsibility for the very successful condominium conversion project for The Downs, LLC, completing the project in less than nine months from purchase of the property to closing of the final sale, with a total of $7.6M in sales. This project was completed ahead of schedule and at substantially higher profits than originally projected. Currently, as Project Manager, he is personally responsible for directing and coordinating all aspects of the construction of over $85,000,000 in new homes to be built in the Sorrento Sunrise, LLC, the Villa Sienna, LLC, Suncrest, and Santa Luz ventures.
Mr. La Marca’s real estate background began with a successful career in construction. Working for a large painting contractor, he came up through the ranks to become lead superintendent, where he was responsible for crew management for multiple concurrent housing tracts, and was instrumental in helping the company achieve the success it still enjoys today.
After 10 years in construction management, Mr. La Marca went into real estate full time. In his first full year as a licensee, he closed over $5 million in sales, and has since closed over a hundred residential and commercial sales. Shortly after entering the real estate sales field, Mr. La Marca became active in real estate investing. With three separate partnerships, he has successfully purchased, renovated, and sold dozens of single-family homes and apartment projects in San Diego County.
His very successful personal investment portfolio includes a major partnership interest in a mobile home park, two condominium conversion projects, and a 72-unit condominium development. Mr. La Marca’s “hands-on experience” brings invaluable expertise to projects managed by G5 Enterprises, Inc.
